What the cloud is
The cloud is the quickest way to put Valet to work. There's no infrastructure to set up or run: sign up, connect your coding agent, and publish your first tool in minutes. Valet runs, upgrades and secures everything for you.
It's priced per seat, plus what your tools use, and the first seat is free. See Pricing.
Building works the same way as in a dedicated installation: the same CLI, MCP server and dashboard, and the same skills, artifacts, apps and agents.
Start
Sign up at dashboard.valet.dev, name your organization, and connect your coding agent. See Get started.
You can try it before you sign up. Ask your agent to publish an artifact anonymously, and it gets a public address and a link to claim the artifact into an organization later. An unclaimed artifact may be removed 36 hours after it's published.
What's different from a dedicated installation
- Addresses. Artifacts and apps serve at
https://<name>.<org>.valet.run. The dashboard isdashboard.valet.devand the MCP server ishttps://api.valet.dev/mcp. - More channels and sharing. Agents can have email addresses, and an artifact can be shared with one person by email.
- Anonymous publishing, described above.
- Sizes. Each app process has 2 shared CPUs and 512 MB of memory. An app's database holds up to 512 MiB and sleeps when it's idle.
When to choose a dedicated installation
Choose a dedicated installation when your company wants Valet in an AWS account of its own: close to systems behind your firewall, with its own network and data, run by Valet or by your own team.
